Interesting to me only

Since I started racing bikes, we use the age we will be on December 31st of the current year. So all year, I've been 39 where it relates to racing. I actually turn 39 tomorrow. What does this mean? Well, I've got a short (as in 6 miles) race tomorrow so I don't know how I'm going to get my "39" miles in that's required via some unwritten rule.

Ok, so that wasn't even interesting to me.

Happy Birthday - looks like you finally catch up with your age! Good luck with race.

So now I'm curious... is that the real 39 or the one where you say that's what you are but it's actually 40?

USAT does the same thing. I've been 41 all year even though I'm 40 for another 5 weeks.

40 for real. I think.

Happy birthday.

Dobo - I turned 39. I'm actually looking forward to being 40 next season so I can race a few more times. There are a lot more 40+ races than 35+.

I just act 13 though.
